The 2025 Summer Institute for Adult Education professionals offers a full day of professional development with sessions tailored to the needs of adult education practitioners. Participants can explore a range of topics, including financial literacy integration, the use of AI to enhance reading and writing instruction, trauma-informed classroom practices, and practical strategies for teaching digital literacy. Afternoon sessions focus on workforce development, adapting digital skills instruction for language learners, using student writing to build digital resilience, effective use of Burlington English in virtual classrooms, pronunciation support through the Color Vowel Chart, and helping adult learners use AI to support family engagement.
