Adults with Disabilities
To identify and better support adults with disabilities, the CSDE provides and implements a formal Technical Assistance (TA) Model to assist Connecticut adult education professionals.
Disability Contact Person PD Pathway
Disability Contact Person (DCP)
Each adult education agency must designate a Disability Contact Person (DCP) to serve as the primary point of contact for disability-related support and information. The DCP is responsible for sharing relevant resources and guidance within their program and serving as a local resource for staff and the community.

Disability Contact Persons meet annually to identify current needs and emerging priorities, share resources and promising practices, network with colleagues across programs, and discuss solutions to common student scenarios.
